IGLOO on the Spitsbergen !

Thousand kilometers from the North Pole, on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen, for over fifty years, there is a Polish House at Pole. This is the most northerly Polish academic institution under the supervision of the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The researchers from the University of Silesia are working there for over thirty years . Thanks to them, Hansa glacier, is systematically studied for 25 years and it is best known glacier in the Arctic. Igloo will be co producer of the film about the work of Polish scientists in these extreme conditions.
